The sales of all products offered by the online shop, hereafter called valevu (with reference to the domain name valevu.com, hereafter called “Website”) are subject to the following General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

All products offered on the Website are directly sold by valevu di Patrizia Giasolli, Via Valico n.93, 55011 Altopascio (LU), Italy, Vat tax n° 02418900466 and Italian fiscal code n° GSLPRZ5746L219P, duly signed up to the registry of businesses of Lucca N. LU – 224073.

This e-commerce activity is exclusively addressed to end consumers above 18 (eighteen) years of age, and in accordance with e-commerce laws.

By “customer” valevu refers to all physical persons using the website valevu.IT for the purpose of purchasing valevu products.

The general conditions of sale regard the offer, transmission, acceptance, shipment, purchasing methods and rights of cancellation of purchase orders regarding products on the website www.valevu.IT between the consumer and valevu. The supply of services and sale of products by different companies operating on the website, via hypertext links, links or banners are not bound by the general conditions of sale, and valevu does not accept legal responsibility for any purchasing agreement entered into via said channels.

General conditions of sale are periodically modified by valevu depending on business and market development, as well as in compliance with possible legislative updates and amendments. Any updates or amendments will be duly published on the website and will have immediate effect from the date of publication.

Sales contract

In order to purchase one or more products offered on our website, it is necessary to complete the electronic order form in full and send it to valevu by email following the relevant instructions.

On the order form you will find a summary of the main commercial conditions, including prices, payment and delivery methods, as well as information about the main features of the purchased product with a clear reference to the general conditions of sale.

The sales contract is considered completed when valevu has received your order form by email, and has verified the accuracy of the order information and sent a purchase order receipt, containing a summary of the information as per the customer’s completed order form.

Once the initial contract procedure has been completed, valevu will process your purchase order.

Before processing the purchase order, valevu will ask you to check supplied data and to carefully read the general conditions of sales (including right of cancellation), and to print a copy of these and store a copy for your personal use.

valevu reserves the right to refuse any purchase orders which may be incomplete, or where products are unavailable, or where payment is not validated. In such an event, the customer will be duly informed by email that the contract has been invalidated and that your purchase order cannot be processed, specifying the reasons and suggesting where appropriate a potential solution to the problem, such as similar available products.

If any products offered on the website are not available or no longer on sale at the moment of receipt of the order form, valevu will inform you immediately about the unavailability of your ordered items and in any case within maximum 30 (thirty) days from date of order. Where payment for goods has already been processed, valevu will offer a substitute model, or a refund.

Upon sending the order form via email, you declare to accept the valevu general conditions of sale. Non-acceptance of our general terms of sale will invalidate your order.

Moreover upon sending the order form you also confirm knowledge of the further information specified in the website as well as in sections one and two (Privacy and General Conditions of Use).


All retail prices are listed in Euros (€) and include sales tax (as per the law in force at time of receipt and validation of order). Shipment cost is separately indicated on the order form and on the invoice.

With a view to the handmade nature of our products, published prices and offers can be altered, sometimes at short notice, and for this reason valevu reserves the right to make amendments without prior notice.

In the event of an incorrect price having been published on the online shop, valevu reserves the right to cancel order requests regarding the product in question.

Prices are subject to updates, therefore we always invite you to check the final price before sending us your order form.


Payment methods are indicated on the order form.

The stated total price for the purchase of the products includes shipment costs (separately shown) and will be debited to your account when items are shipped, as outlined on the order form.

Preferred payment methods are PayPal and bank transfer.

The following payment methods are also accepted: Visa/Postepay, MasterCard, Prepaid card PayPal, Postepay, Discover, Aura Card and American Express, to be made via PayPal to ensure safe and fast payment processing.

Any information supplied at the moment of payment will not be used by valevu for any other purpose except to complete the purchasing procedures relevant to your order, and in order to refund you in case of possible cancellation, or in case it is necessary to alert police forces to possible payment fraud.

Shipment and products delivery

Goods will be shipped with an accompanying invoice, You can view invoice details in your account under “My Orders”.

Valevu always uses patented and certified packaging materials, and reliable national and international couriers, such as FEDEX, UPS, BARTOLINI, SDA, and TNT, etc., for shipment and delivery of your order to your stated delivery address. The courier takes full responsibility for the whole shipment process from the collection from our company to your delivery address.

Valevu does not take responsibility for any damage caused by couriers during shipment. Please check that packaging is undamaged and untampered upon receipt.

The following data is necessary for the shipment process:

  • Invoice information: name/company name and invoice address, tax information (either National Insurance number or sales tax number), and email address;
  • Delivery details: name/company name and delivery address, telephone number, and email address.


In case of defective items, we kindly ask you to promptly inform us by email by writing to info@valevu.com, so that we can immediately assess the problem and provide you with a response.

Defective items can be returned to valevu in the original packaging within 14 days from receipt of goods. Return shipment charges are to be paid by customer. Defective items will be replaced and shipped by valevu free of charge, or refunded in case of unavailability.

Regarding return of damaged goods, valevu reserves the right not to accept the return of items which may have been tampered with, damaged or subject to wear and tear.

If you receive a parcel which is visibly damaged (i.e. by the courier during shipment), broken or stained, we kindly invite you to refuse the delivery and have the goods returned to valevu. We will inform you of the new delivery date, once we have received the damaged goods and organized a replacement.

If the shipment consists of two or more parcels but not all are damaged, we kindly ask you to refuse the damaged parcel only, by signing the delivery note with said reserve; valevu will request the courier to return the damaged parcel, and after receipt of said parcel will then send you a replacement containing the items ordered. In the event of said items being unavailable, we will contact you directly in order to find a possible replacement item and, if not, we will refund you for its value.

The return costs for damaged parcels are valevus responsibility.

Shipment of purchased products usually takes place within two to four working days from order receipt and relevant payment completion via PayPal.

If you pay by bank transfer, shipment will take place within two to four days from receipt of your payment by our bank.

Cancellation information

In accordance with the Italian Legislative Decree n° 206/05, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 working days from receipt of goods without having to pay any penalty, subject to written notice to be sent to valevu and observing the relevant procedure for returns. Please note that you will be responsible for shipment costs for returning or exchanging goods. Our customer service is always at your disposal for all order issues, therefore please contact valevu by email at info@valevu.com if you have any queries.

When emailing re cancellation or exchange queries, please specify: the product or products you intend to return, order number and order date, invoice number, and your bank details (IBAN code). After sending your email, please be so kind as to wait for our reply authorizing the return of any items.

Within the 14 day period from receipt of goods, you can then send back the items you wish to return, via tracked shipment by courier.

Regarding return of damaged goods, valevu reserves the right not to accept the return of items which may have been tampered with, damaged or subject to wear and tear.

You are required to cover the cost of return shipment for the items you wish to return or exchange, in accordance with article 5, paragraph 6, of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 185 dated 22/05/1999.

Your cancellation rights are subject to the terms and conditions as previously described, in addition to the following conditions:

  • items must be returned intact;
  • items must be returned in their original packaging (in case of Selections, the entire range of products included in the Selection must be returned)

Returned items belonging to the same order must be sent back together as a single shipment. valevu reserves the right not to accept items from the same order that are sent back as different shipment.

Return shipment costs are to be paid by customer, who is also responsible for loss or damage of items in transit, until they have been signed for by valevu without reserve.

Upon receipt of returned items, these will be duly checked in order to make sure they have not been damaged (in order for cancellation rights to be fulfilled, all items must be completely intact and undamaged), therefore we invite you to carefully package the products you wish to return or exchange.

Returned products must not have been used or damaged.

Cancellation rights are accorded to private end customers only, not to dealers, agents or other companies or individuals who may have purchased items for resale.

The return form must be filled in and sent to valevu within 10 (ten) working days from receipt of the goods.

If conditions are considered valid for cancellation, valevu will refund you for the value paid for the items concerned within 30 (thirty) days from the date valevu receives the returned goods.

The refund procedure is initiated once it has been verified that all terms and conditions as described above have been met.
If the abovementioned terms and conditions are not met, no refund will be due.

If the items returned to valevu do not meet the terms for cancellation or refund, you are entitled to receive back the items concerned at your expense and to arrange for their return to your address.

If you do not want to ship back to your address any returned items that do not meet the terms and conditions, valevu will keep said items, as well as the relevant amount already paid.

Refund terms and leadtimes

Once items have been returned, valevu will duly check them in their integrity, in accordance with the terms and conditions as described above.

If all terms and conditions have been met, valevu will send you confirmation via email, declaring acceptance of the returned items, and will refund the sum paid for said items within 30 (thirty) days of receipt of goods at valevu.

The refund sum will be sent to the original payee at his/her invoice address, and not to the consignee at the delivery address.

General Conditions of Sale are subject to Italian law in accordance with the Legislative Decree dated 6th September 2005 n° 206 regarding the “Consumer Code” with specific reference to the legislation regarding purchasing by correspondence and to the Legislative Decree dated 9th April 2003 n° 70 regarding e-commerce.

Any sale of products or services takes place in the Italian State and is regulated by the laws currently enforced in the Italian Republic. Any dispute that should arise will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts in accordance with the laws in force at the moment of stipulation of the contract.
